Project Description
The Golfe de Saint-Tropez Community of Municipalities (CCGST) has launched a Flood Prevention Action Program (PAPI) to strengthen the resilience of its territory against flash floods and flood risks.
Located between the Massif des Maures and the Mediterranean coast, this territory with a strong tourist vocation is particularly exposed to “flash” flooding events. Labeled in 2019 by the Joint Flood Commission, the program includes 47 actions representing a total investment of 21.6 million euros. Among these are several structural operations on the Bourrian and Préconil waterways, aimed at improving the protection of populations, infrastructure, and economic activities.
Services provided by SCP:
- Helping the project owner with how contracts are awarded.
- Writing up the documents for calling companies to bid (administrative and technical parts).
- Handling the contract process (reviewing applications/offers, presenting them in project meetings, signing contracts after the project owner approves the choice), and managing payments for design, construction, supplies, and services contracts.
- Monitoring the work and services, giving feedback on study documents, and helping get them approved according to the contract.
- Supporting the administrative, financial, and accounting side of the project (getting documents ready for funding requests, tracking expenses, and keeping an eye on the planned payment schedule).
