Project description
Technical support to the OMVS in order to reorganise sustainable funding mechanisms within the OMVS system, with a view to reducing the burden of State contributions to the operating and investment budgets of OMVS structures.
Services provided:
- Collection and analysis of data regarding the OMVS system
- Analysis of the current funding system for OMVS structures
- Comparative analysis of funding mechanisms employed by several organisations in the Senegal River basin
- Highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each type of funding
- Investigation of the funding opportunities presented by regional community-based institutions
