The towns of La Londe les Maures, Bormes les Mimosas and Le Lavandou (83) are prone to frequent and severe flooding. 2014 was a particularly bad year, with two consecutive and severe floods wreaking economic havoc and causing several deaths in La Londe. If they are to secure public financing, the various towns and villages comprising the Communauté de Communes Méditerranée Porte des Maures need to obtain « FPP » certification for their works programme.
Firstly, SCP prepared the FPP application package, which was certified in December 2017 and amounts to €25.79 M over a period of 6 years. The CCMPM then appointed SCP as delegated project manager for the majority of actions set out in the Côtiers des Maures full FPP.
Services provided:
- Co-ordinating the delivery of all studies and works
- Organising and handling the programme’s financing
- Maintaining contact with financiers and government departments
- Assisting the CCMPM at the technical and contractual level
